Artist Residency with Earth Canvas & Wagga Wagga Art Gallery

Applications for 2025 are now closed, but this residency remains a unique opportunity for artists passionate about environmental themes.

In partnership with Earth Canvas, Wagga Wagga Art Gallery offers one artist residency combining a two-week stay on a regenerative farm (accommodation provided) followed by a two-week studio residency at the gallery.

Experience & Mentorship

The residency allows artists to explore healthy landscapes, soil, food, and sustainability, with mentorship from a leading Australian landscape artist to deepen their understanding of working with nature.

Support & Eligibility

The selected artist will receive a $2,000 stipend to assist with project costs, along with funding for accommodation and travel, making it accessible to regional NSW artists beyond the Riverina.

This residency provides an exceptional chance for artists to expand their practice beyond the studio and engage directly with the land.
